Indications
Vita Metafolic is a food supplement based on calcium L-methylfolate (Metafolin®)** (5-MTHF), the active form of folic acid; this results in a rapidly available formulation, usable by the body without undergoing further biotransformation processes.
Folate deficiency can be a consequence of insufficient dietary intake. Folates are water-soluble, heat-labile, and photosensitive vitamins. Their concentration in foods is therefore strongly influenced by storage and cooking methods, which can reduce their quantity (up to 90%).
Folate deficiency can also be a consequence of reduced absorption from the diet (e.g., celiac disease), certain physiological situations (pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postmenopause), or the effect of taking certain medications. Folatecontributes to normal amino acid synthesis, normal hematopoiesis, the natural metabolism of homocysteine, physiological psychological function, the normal function of the immune system, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and also intervenes in the process of cell division. Directions for use and Dosage
Swallow 1 tablet per day, with water, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Packaged in bottles of 50 tablets.
