Indications

Vertilev is a supplement produced by Levante Farma, indicated for the treatment of dizziness and postural disorders. This product is particularly useful for the following conditions:

• Residual postural instability from BPPV;
• Acute vestibular deficit (AVD) in the post-ictal phase;
• Postural instability in the elderly.

Active ingredients

• Vertilev contains citicoline, which stimulates the biosynthesis of membrane phospholipids in brain cells and increases the synthesis of neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine. It also improves cerebral microcirculatory hemodynamics.
• The alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) in Vertilev is an effective brain antioxidant that protects neurons from damage caused by free radicals. Superoxide dismutase (SOD), an enzymatic antioxidant in Vertilev, eliminates the superoxide anion, enhancing the antioxidant action.
• Vertilev also contains vitamin D, which exerts a neuroprotective effect by promoting the upregulation of neurotrophins that influence neurotransmission. The B vitamins in Vertilev contribute to physiological energy metabolism and protect cells from oxidative stress.
