Indications
Trocà DHA by Laborest is a food supplement of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), folic acid (Quatrefolic), vitamins and mineral salts formulated specifically for pregnant women and breastfeeding women. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and the maintenance of normal vision. Quatrefolic represents 5-MTHF (5-methyltetrahydrofolate), the already active form of folic acid. It does not require further conversions and is immediately available for cellular use. 5-MTHF Folate (5-methyltetrahydrofolate) contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, normal hematopoiesis, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and is involved in the process of cell division. Iodine contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, the normal production of thyroid hormones, and normal thyroid function. Iron in bisglycinate form is much more tolerable and does not cause the side effects typical of traditional supplementation of this mineral. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin and to normal oxygen transport in the body. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and vision, the normal function of the immune system, and normal fertility and reproduction. The presence of minerals in bisglycinate form (iron, zinc and copper) protects DHA and vitamins from oxidation, and also reduces possible gastrointestinal problems.

Directions for use and Dosage
It is recommended to take 1 enteric-coated capsule per day. It can also be taken by people with gluten and lactose intolerance or sensitivity.
