Food supplement of iron and vitamin C.
Indications
Triofer is a food supplement based on vitamin C and iron useful in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased need for the nutrients it contains.
- Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin and to the correct transport of oxygen in the body.
- Vitamin C increases its absorption and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Furthermore, their combination promotes the natural functioning of the immune system and the nervous system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
The innovative multilayer and three-phase technology (3W) of the tablet guarantees maximum bioavailability of the active ingredients at the right time and where it is really needed.
The first phase (Fast) ensures a complete release within the first 5 minutes, which guarantees the absorption of 10 mg of iron in the first part of the duodenum; the second (Normal) has a complete release within 45 minutes and allows the absorption during duodenal transit of 10 mg of iron and 70 mg of vitamin C; the third and final phase (Retard) guarantees a slow and prolonged release of 10 mg of iron, ensuring increased absorption at the intestinal level.
Triofer is useful in cases of iron deficiency, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in cases of significant and prolonged blood loss during the menstrual cycle.
Composition
Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium phosphate; microencapsulated ferric pyrophosphate; Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid); Stabilizers: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose; ferrous bisglycinate; Ferrous sulfate; Anti-caking agents: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, polyvinylpolypyrrolidone; Colorants: Iron oxide.
Gluten-free.
Directions for use and dosage
Take 1 tablet per day, swallowed with a large glass of water.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Storage
Store the Triofer supplement in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
