Indications

Tocolisin is an adjuvant in maintaining the uterine quiescence phase during pregnancy.

Tocolisin is composed of:

• Salicin: It is metabolized at the liver level and transformed into salicylic acid.
  Like other NSAIDs, it inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins by blocking
  cyclooxygenase, with consequent anti-inflammatory and
  decontracting action on the uterine muscles.
• Magnesium Citrate: It acts at the level of the myometrium with a calcium antagonist mechanism,
  preventing the onset of contractile activity with threat of
  abortion or preterm birth.
• Vitamin C: Prevents the threat of spontaneous abortion by regulating the
  progesterone-estrogen balance.
  Promotes the absorption of iron necessary in the treatment of iron-deficiency anemia that could cause spontaneous abortion.
  Promotes the synthesis of collagen present in the amniotic membrane,
  preventing its rupture and reducing the risk of premature birth.
• Potassium Citrate: Prevents the depolarization of uterine myocytes, hindering
  the entry of calcium into the cell membrane, resulting in the failure of
  myometrial contraction.

How to use and Dosage

We recommend taking one sachet per day, dissolved in water, after the main meal.
