Indications
Tantum Verde Natura Eucalyptus and Honey Lozenges is a product indicated for the practical relief of sore throat symptoms. They are practical lozenges that dissolve slowly in the mouth for long-lasting relief from an inflamed throat. They contain the active ingredient benzydamine, which acts against local irritation and pain. Tantum Verde Natura Gummy Lozenges is used for the local symptomatic treatment of pain and irritation of the mouth and throat.
Composition
The active ingredient is benzydamine hydrochloride equal to 2.68 mg of benzydamine. The other ingredients are: isomalt (E953), aspartame (E951), levomenthol, citric acid monohydrate, lemon flavouring, mint flavouring, quinoline yellow (E104), indigo carmine (E132).
How to use and dosage
The recommended dose is:
- Adults and children over 6 years: one lozenge 3 times a day. Do not take more than 3 lozenges a day.
- In children aged 6 to 11 years, the product must be taken under the supervision of an adult. The pharmaceutical form “lozenges” Tantum Verde Natura gummy lozenges should not be taken for more than 7 days. For oropharyngeal use. Allow one lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth. Do not swallow. Do not chew.
Warnings
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Tantum Verde P if you suffer from phenylketonuria, if you have had asthma in the past, if you are allergic to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), if your doctor has diagnosed an intolerance to some sugars, contact him before taking this medicine, if after using the lozenges the pain in the mouth or throat worsens or does not improve within 3 days, or if fever or other symptoms appear, you should contact your doctor or dentist. Do not use Tantum Verde P: - if you are allergic to benzydamine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Storage
Expiry date: see the expiry date on the package. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture.
