Product Description

Iron-based dietary supplement, SunActive Fe, microencapsulated iron pyrophosphate in an emulsifying system. It can be useful for iron supplementation in cases of iron deficiency and even for long periods, such as pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in women with prolonged and heavy bleeding during the menstrual cycle.
     SunActive Fe
It is an internationally patented product with excellent organoleptic properties: it is free of the unpleasant characteristic taste and odor of iron and is highly bioavailable and digestible. With this system, the iron is highly absorbable, and high serum levels are maintained even 8 hours after intake. It shows high levels of "hemoglobin regeneration efficiency." in the presence of anemia. SunActive Fe is highly compliant for its high gastrointestinal tolerability: it does not cause irritation, a feeling of heaviness and does not leave unpleasant aftertastes because it passes through the gastric environment unharmed and goes into the small intestine, where it is absorbed slowly.
     Vitamin C
It facilitates the absorption of dietary iron, therefore it is useful in the treatment of anemia and contributes to the production of red blood cells.
     Folic Acid
It is necessary in the synthesis of DNA and RNA and for the production and maintenance of new cells, and is particularly important during periods of rapid growth such as childhood and pregnancy. Indicated for the prevention of some birth defects; reduces the risk of neural tube defects and, perhaps, other birth defects.

Ingredients
Iron proteinate (SunActive Fe); vitamin C; folic acid; excipients: corn starch; maltodextrin; fructose; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; sweeteners: orange flavoring; acidifier: citric acid.

Directions for use
Recommended dose:
Children from 6 months to 10 years: 1 sachet per day.
Adults and pregnancy: 2 sachets per day.
It is recommended to administer the indicated dosage once a day, diluted in water or liquids; Pirofer sachets can be used as a supplement. It can also be administered with yogurt, milk, fruit juices and any cold or hot drink.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children are recommended to consult their doctor.
