Characteristics

Supplement indicated as an adjuvant in all cases where it is necessary to increase the immune defenses, during flu and colds, during infectious diseases and during convalescence. Useful in deficiency states, in states of loss of appetite, in delayed growth in children and during therapy with acyclovir.

Contains:

• Lactoferrin, a natural protein whose prerogative is to remove free iron from the tissues. It is present in all those secretions that are exposed to the action of bacteria: therefore not only in milk but also in tears, nasal exudate, saliva, bronchial secretions, gastrointestinal juice and other organic secretions. Lactoferrin is synthesized in specific white blood cells, which release it precisely at sites of infection or increased oxidative stress. In the intestine, lactoferrin is broken down into peptide fragments, lactoferricins, which have been shown to possess microbicidal activity. They are able to bind to the membrane phospholipids of bacteria, fungi, and protozoa, causing irreversible structural damage. Many studies have shown lactoferricins to also be active against viruses in general, and specifically against rotaviruses and adenoviruses. The antiviral effect of lactoferricin is to prevent the fusion between host cells and viruses. It has also been shown that the body uses lactoferrin at critical moments in life, such as in full-term and premature newborns.
• Zinc, an essential element of nutrition, is a constituent of many enzymatic systems and is present in all tissues. Zinc deficiency conditions include alterations in rapidly growing tissues, such as those of the immune system, skin, and intestinal mucosa.
• B vitamins which, due to their coenzyme function, occupy metabolic positions of great importance for the correct balance of cellular energy.

Lactoferrin; zinc; vitamin B complex; folic acid; vitamin B12.

Directions for use

1 vial per day, regardless of meals. Turn the white cap clockwise until it stops, so that the red device underneath cuts the reservoir and the powder flows into the vial. Do not unscrew yet and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved. Unscrew the white cap and take the product as is or diluted in water or other drinks.

Warnings

The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in its intact packaging. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15°-30° C), avoid exposure to localized heat sources, sunlight and contact with water.
