It also contains approximately 12% lipids, including a substance that normalizes the biological balance of sugars, and 38% carbohydrates, especially fructose and glucose. Added to this are B vitamins, particularly pantothenic acid (B5), acetylcholine, in quantities greater than any other products of animal origin, mineral salts, and trace elements. It is recommended for convalescents, athletes, and students for its positive effect on physical and nervous fatigue, due to the induced metabolic stimulation. In pediatrics, it is used in children with poor appetite or who suffer from malabsorption.
