Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (EPA and DHA)
They are fundamental constituents of cell membranes and precursors of a class of cellular messengers called eicosanoids, which play a crucial role in regulating a myriad of physiological functions. EPA and DHA contribute to normal cardiac function. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
Borage oil
It is extracted from the seeds of Borago officinalis and is useful for the integrity of cell membranes, skin trophism and joint function. Borage oil is rich in gamma-linolenic acid (omega-6 GLA) which in our body is converted into dihomo-gamma-linolenic acid (DGLA), a precursor of series 1 eicosanoids with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action.

Curcuma longa
It is a plant belonging to the same family as ginger (Zingiberaceae) traditionally used in India for medicinal purposes as well as a spice and colorant. It has digestive properties, is useful for maintaining joint function and as an antioxidant. The characteristic bright yellow color is due to the presence of polyphenolic pigments known as curcuminoids. Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA)

In addition to this function, the body uses the free alpha-lipoic acid to counteract the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), to chelate metal ions, to repair oxidized proteins and to regenerate other exogenous and endogenous antioxidant compounds such as glutathione, vitamins C and E.
Tocopherols and Tocotrienols
These are the forms in which vitamin E is present in nature, which acts as a free radical scavenger, contributing to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Coenzyme Q10
is a fundamental constituent of the mitochondrial energy production chain. It promotes the transformation of nutrients introduced with the diet into energy easily used by cells (in the form of adenosine triphosphate – ATP).
