Indications
Bifolic is a food supplement based on folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin C useful for all women during pregnancy for the correct development of the fetus and the prevention of neural tube defects.
Bifolic contains the recommended dose of folic acid and vitamins C and B12 at 100% of the LARN (Recommended Daily Intake Levels) for pregnancy:
- Folic acid: contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and intervenes in the process of cell division;
- Vitamin B12: intervenes in the cell division process;
- Vitamin C: has antioxidant properties and is necessary for the transformation of folic acid into its active form.
Folic acid can also be taken for prolonged periods, as no adverse effects have been reported if the dose of 1 mg per day is not exceeded.

Directions for use and Dosage
One tablet per day in the periconceptional period or as otherwise indicated by your doctor.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Storage
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposure to localized heat sources, sunlight, and contact with water. The expiration date refers to the product when stored correctly. Do not dispose of in the environment after use.
