Indications

Biokmag is a food supplement based on Potassium and Magnesium Citrate useful for integrating these nutrients in case of reduced dietary intake or increased needs. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, normal energy metabolism, electrolyte balance and the reduction of the feeling of tiredness and fatigue. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function.

Directions for use and Dosage

Unless otherwise indicated by your doctor, we recommend taking 1-2 sachets per day, preferably on a full stomach, dissolving the contents of the sachet in a glass of water (about 150 ml) until you obtain a pleasant fruit-flavored drink. In the case of double administration, we recommend taking 1 sachet in the morning and 1 in the evening.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. For potassium intake, it is advisable to consult your doctor. Taking certain medications at the same time may increase the risk of developing liver problems. in turn interfere with potassium retention in the body. Use is not recommended for children.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or from conditions that may predispose to the onset of these plasma alterations (such as chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus). The simultaneous intake of Biokmag and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalemia. In these cases, it is advisable to monitor the potassium level. No interactions with other drugs are known. Rarely, mild gastrointestinal disturbances may be observed during treatment, such as abdominal heaviness, nausea, and occasionally diarrhea. These symptoms can be alleviated by taking Biokmag on a full stomach. If these or other side effects occur, it is advisable to contact your doctor.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from light, localized heat sources and sunlight, and avoid contact with water.
