Characteristics
Maculife is useful for providing substances physiologically present in high quantities in the retina and essential for its optimal functioning. Useful in all cases of increased need for the nutrients it is composed of.
Contains:
- Lutein and Zeaxanthin, belonging to the carotenoid family, are important substances for the retina and are found in the macula. These pigments are responsible for the quality of clear vision because they counteract the oxidative damage caused by free radicals.
- Tocotrienols, natural compounds contained in some foods; these substances, in addition to being powerful natural antioxidants, have shown neuroprotective and anti-angiogenic activities.
- DHA from microalgal oil, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is a polyunsaturated fatty acid of the Omega 3 series found mainly in marine foods; it represents one of the main constituents of brain cellular tissue and is especially important for correct retinal function and good vision quality.
- Vitamin C and Vitamin E, powerful antioxidants effective in counteracting the cellular aging processes affecting the retinal tissue.
- Zinc and Copper, which have high antioxidant power. These elements are involved in numerous enzymatic activities in the retina and are important in conjunction with age-related degenerations. Zinc also acts as a catalyst in accelerating and intensifying the activity of vitamins C and E.

Directions for use
We recommend taking 1 capsule per day, swallowed on a full stomach with a large glass of water.
