Lithosolv plus supplement for restoring and maintaining systemic and urinary acid-base balance.
Indications
Food supplement of alkaline potassium salts, particularly helpful for individuals experiencing intense fluid loss, such as heavy sweating, diuresis, or diarrhea, or for patients undergoing medication such as diuretics, laxatives, or corticosteroids.
Lithosolv plus is also able to correct excessive acid load, which can be directly assessed by measuring urinary pH; This can be easily done using the strips included in the package.
Ingredients
Each tablet contains 1.5g of potassium citrate, equivalent to 586.5 mg of potassium (i.e. 15 mEq), in a formulation that ensures prolonged release.

Directions for use
It is recommended to take two tablets daily, unless otherwise indicated by your doctor.
LITHOSOLV PLUS is best taken on a full stomach, swallowing the tablet with a little water.
For other indications (prevention of kidney stones), follow your doctor's prescription.
Directions for use of pH strips
Collect urine in a container. With dry hands, remove a strip from the transparent sachet. Dip the strip in the urine for 1 second, remove it, and allow the excess urine to drip off. The wetted part of the strip will take on a different color depending on the pH of the urine. Within 2 minutes, compare the color of the strip with that of the reference color scale provided in the package. Read the value corresponding to the color that most closely matches the color on the strip.
Disposable strips should be disposed of in household waste after use. Any changes in color on unused strips do not affect their accuracy.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with hyperkalemia or conditions that may predispose to the onset of this plasma alteration (chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus).
Concomitant use with potassium-sparing drugs may cause hyperkalemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor potassium levels.
Format
Bottle of 60 retard tablets. The package contains a plastic sachet with 20 pH test strips with a corresponding calorimetric scale.
