Indications

Salugea Organic Cranberry Juice is a liquid supplement based exclusively on organic cranberry berries. Cranberry is famous for its properties in regulating the functions of the lower urinary tract (bladder and urethra) and for the physiological drainage of body fluids.

Cranberry juice is useful for:

• Action on urinary tract inflammation: Cranberry is a mine of Proanthocyanidins which have a particular action against the bacteria that commonly attack the bladder (in particular Escherichia coli) preventing them from adhering to the urinary walls and allowing them to "slip" out of the bladder through the urine;
• Breaking the mechanism of antibiotic resistance: Cranberry carries bacteria out of the bladder without killing them, unlike what happens with antibiotics (which should always be taken under medical supervision). Killing bacteria, in fact, creates a greater chance of relapse over time, as it generates a phenomenon called antibiotic resistance. In fact, antibiotics, used too frequently, while eliminating the bacteria that cause cystitis, weaken the immune system, making it less able to respond to pathogen attacks. Cranberry, on the other hand, does both: it counters bacterial adhesion to the urinary walls and supports the urinary tract, thus to hinder the bacteria that will try a new attack;
• Diuretic: gently stimulates diuresis and consequently the removal of microorganisms that were in the bladder and cause discomfort;
• Antioxidant: Cranberry juice is very rich in natural antioxidants, essential for fighting free radicals and preventing cellular aging.

Directions for use and Dosage

Take 15 ml to 30 ml of product per day, pure or diluted in water, preferably between meals. Shake before use.
