Indications
Hyaluronic acid is involved in important biological processes and plays a particular role in the protection and repair of the connective tissue of the skin and urothelium. Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan produced in high quantities in the extracellular matrix. Hyaluronic acid promotes cell migration thanks to its enormous capacity to bind water, which facilitates cell movement. In particular, hyaluronic acid generates an optimal microenvironment capable of stimulating the increase, proliferation, and migration of fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and keratinocytes. Hyaluronic acid is found in high concentrations in various areas of the body, including:
- The dermis, i.e., the connective tissue of the skin
- The urothelium, i.e., the epithelial tissue that forms the internal lining of the bladder and urinary tract
Hyaluronic acid is responsible for the nourishment and hydration of the connective tissue. The presence of an adequate concentration of hyaluronic acid provides the skin with deep hydration, a toning effect, and promotes its regenerative capacity.
Hyaluronic acid plays an important role in the repair mechanisms of the protective urothelial barrier where it has been structurally compromised by recurrent urinary infections and iatrogenic treatments. Terminalia Chebula helps contain inflammatory conditions and the action of hyaluronidase.

Directions for use and dosage
