Indications

Serenoa is a supplement based on Serenoa Serrulata H.f. titrated 1:5, 20% dried fruits, 65% alcohol by volume and andrio.

• Serenoa is now widely used in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy and androgenic alopecia (hair loss caused by endocrine disorders). Its active ingredients (triglycerides, phytosterols, sitosterol derivatives, flavonoids) give it antiandrogenic properties, which it carries out mainly through a direct action on dihydrotestosterone receptors, and indirectly, through the inhibition of the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme.
