Indications

Selene is a phytopreparation capable of performing a liver draining action; useful in cases of acute and chronic liver disease, hepatic steatosis, viral hepatitis, drug toxicosis, dyslipidemia (cholesterol and triglycerides), and food poisoning. Through its components, it rebalances the liver's energy. It counteracts chemotherapy toxicosis and chronic degenerative liver diseases.

It is effective thanks to its components:

• Artichoke:Helps purify the liver by promoting the elimination of toxins; stimulates diuresis;
• Boldo:It has a detoxifying and cholagogue action, that is, it helps to thin bile by increasing its secretion and decreasing its viscosity. It also promotes gastric secretion and improves the digestion of fats;
• Dandelion: It has purifying, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties for the liver: it promotes the elimination of waste products (sugars, triglycerides, cholesterol and uric acid), making dandelion a hepatoprotective plant, indicated in cases of liver failure, jaundice and gallstones;
• Milk Thistle: It acts as a decongestant, improving liver function. It regenerates liver tissue, stimulating the production of new cells, protecting it from future damage;
• Orthosiphon: It acts as a hepatorenal diuretic; increases liver and biliary function and restores diuresis, promoting the elimination of nitrogenous, urate and phosphate waste;
• Desmodium: It carries out a targeted action to increase the speed of regeneration of liver cells, restoring correct functionality;
• Rhubarb: It has cholagogue properties and exerts a digestive action thanks to the increase in the secretion of gastric juices that it is able to cause;
  
• Frangula: It contains anthraquinone glycosides which have laxative and diuretic properties; helps regulate the intestine and purify the liver;
• Sage:It has anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties, offering a good response against water retention, edema, rheumatism and headaches;
• Star anise:It is a powerful anti-inflammatory, stimulates diuresis and has an antiviral and antibacterial action on the liver;
• Licorice:It produces a significant improvement in conditions in individuals suffering from chronic liver failure. The antioxidants contained in it promote the reduction of triglycerides and transaminases in the liver tissues and the increase of hepatic glycogen;

Artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) leaf, Boldo (Peumus boldus Molina) leaf, Milk thistle (Silybum marianum Gaerten) fruit, Orthosiphon (Ortosiphon stamineus Benth) leaf, Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale Weber) root, Desmodium (Desmodium adscendens DC) leaf, Rhubarb (Rheum palmatum var.taguntigum Maxim) rhizome, Buckthorn (Rhamnus frangula Mill) bark, Sage (Salvia officinalis L.) leaf, Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis L.) leaf, Mint (Mentha x piperita L.) leaf, Gentian (Gentiana lutea L.) root, Star anise (Illicium verum Hooker) fruit (seed), Black radish (Raphanus sativus var. niger Miller) root, Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria L.) tops, Sweet orange (Citrus sinensis L. var. dulcis) pericarp, Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) root.

Directions for use and dosage

15 to 60 ml of product per day, diluted in 1.5 litres of water.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
