Indications

Retinil Forte is a food supplement in tablet form based on a synergistic combination of ingredients useful for protecting visual function in the case of retinal edema of any type, thanks to their effective anti-inflammatory and anti-edema action.

Retinil Forte is used as an adjuvant in the treatment of:

Components

Curcugreen®

Curcugreen is a highly bioavailable turmeric (Curcuma longa) extract standardized to 95% in curcuminoids (curcumin) and essential oils (Ar-turmerone). This particular combination increases the bioavailability of the active components without having to resort to synthetic additives, thus optimizing their effectiveness even at low doses.
Curcugreen is approximately 7-9 times more bioavailable than common curcumin; significant concentrations persist in the blood for up to 8 hours after oral administration.
The efficacy of Curcugreen is clinically supported by numerous clinical studies conducted worldwide. High bioavailability and rapid absorption promote anti-inflammatory activity and anti-edema effects at low doses.

Bromelain

Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme (it digests proteins), extracted from pineapple stems, which is particularly effective in all inflammatory conditions associated with trauma, in localized inflammation (especially in the presence of edema), and in postoperative tissue reactions.
Bromelain acts by increasing the production of prostaglandins with anti-inflammatory activity at the expense of those with pro-inflammatory activity, thus avoiding the gastrointestinal damage typical of NSAIDs.
It is effective for both post-traumatic and inflammatory edema. Bromelain acts by a proteolytic mechanism on fibrin, albumin, and other protein substances, facilitating the recovery of physiological functionality by draining the inflammatory site and reabsorbing hemorrhagic extravasation. Bromelain has an anti-edema and anti-inflammatory effect that occurs by decongesting the sites of inflammation, also facilitating the reabsorption of exudate.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains:

Bromelain tit. 2,500 GDU*/g from pineapple stem 250 mg;
Curcugreen® (95% curcuminoid complex from Curcuma longa L. rhizome) 100 mg.

Directions for use

We recommend taking one or two tablets daily, swallowed with water.
