Directions for use and dosage
During the acute phase of cystitis, take 1 1 g scoop every 3 hours until the symptoms of cystitis decrease. Alternatively, dissolve 6 g in 2 liters of water and drink throughout the day.
In the maintenance phase, take 1 scoop in the morning and evening (before going to bed).
In case of post-coital cystitis, take 1 scoop immediately after intercourse and 1 scoop 3 or 4 times a day for the following 48 hours.
It is recommended to take D-mannose between meals and keep it in the bladder for at least an hour. After one hour of taking it, drink plenty of water. This allows the bladder to be washed out and the bacteria in the bladder that have adhered to the D-mannose to be eliminated.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. The effectiveness of the product may vary depending on the individual. It can be reduced in cases of intestinal malabsorption (Chron's disease, celiac disease, gastroenteritis). This pure D-mannose can be taken in cases of diabetes mellitus and in pediatric age.
