Food supplement based on iron and vitamin C indicated in all states of dietary iron deficiency.

Indications

Prefolic Ferro is a supplement based on iron present in three different layers (trilayer) and vitamin C, useful for filling dietary deficiencies or increased organic needs of these nutrients.

• The first phase (Fast) ensures the start of release within the first 5 minutes and guarantees the absorption of 10 mg of iron in the first part of the duodenum.
• The second phase (Normal) allows the start of release within 45 minutes and allows the absorption during duodenal transit of 10 mg of iron and 70 mg of vitamin C.
• The third phase (Retard) guarantees, over the course of 8 hours, a slow and prolonged release of 10 mg of iron ensuring increased absorption at intestinal level.

Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal oxygen transport in the body.
Vitamin C increases iron absorption and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Both contribute to the normal function of the immune system.

Ingredients

Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate; microencapsulated ferric pyrophosphate; vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid); stabilizers: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose; ferrous bisglycinate; ferrous sulfate; anti-caking agents: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, polyvinylpolypyrrolidone; colorings: iron oxides.

Directions for use and Dosage

It is recommended to take one tablet per day, swallowed whole with a little water. of water.
