Optima Naturals Colors of Life Omega 3.6.9 Total Benefits is a dietary supplement based on a balanced blend of fish oil, flaxseed oil, and sunflower oil for the correct intake of Omega 3.6.9.
Omega are polyunsaturated fatty acids that perform energetic and structural functions in our body and also have a very important metabolic and regulatory role.
Active ingredients
- Fish oil is a dietary source of Omega-3, particularly EPA and DHA, essential fatty acids that can be synthesized in the human body only from an Omega-3 precursor: alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).
- The formulation is completed with seed oil Flaxseed oil, the main source of ALA, which acts synergistically with fish oil. Flaxseed oil is rich not only in ALA but also in lineoleic acid (LA), the parent of the Omega-6 fatty acids, essential fatty acids required for the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes with anti-inflammatory properties.
- Omega-9 fatty acids are not considered essential because they can be synthesized from other unsaturated fats (Omega-3 and Omega-6), however, their intake is recommended in cases of diets low in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. Sunflower seed oil is the best source of Omega 9;
- The formula is enriched with Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

Fish oil 18/12 EPA/DHA, evening primrose (Oenothera biennis L.) seed oil, flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) seed oil, capsule (bovine gelatin and vegetable glycerin), vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopheryl acetate).

Directions for Use and Dosage
