Indications

The Citicoline (Cognizin) contained in Neuprozin is an ultrapure Citicoline, also known as CDP-Choline.

It is a molecule normally present in the body, and represents a precursor in the endogenous synthesis of phospholipids involved in the formation and repair processes of nerve cell membranes.
Furthermore, it constitutes the necessary substrate for the synthesis of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter essential for the propagation of nerve impulses, and has a facilitating effect on cerebral energy metabolism.

Homotaurine is an amino acid derivative extracted from particular species of algae capable of reaching the Central Nervous System. It is structurally similar to GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), an important neurotransmitter involved in the propagation of nerve impulses.

Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
