Indications

Mimiker contains important nutritional factors that intervene in the regulation of glucose metabolism.
It comes in gastro-protected tablets, since lipoic acid would have difficulty passing through the stomach. Alpha-lipoic acid is an essential enzymatic cofactor present in tissues, where it acts as an antioxidant factor in both its oxidized and reduced forms. It intervenes in the synthesis of glutathione, ensures the functionality of vitamin E, and acts on an enzyme essential for energy production, pyruvic decarboxylase, which catalyzes the transition from glycolysis to the Krebs cycle, promoting energy availability.
Its antioxidant activity is expressed in the protection of nerve fibers, which is why it is used in the treatment of various neuropathies: carpal tunnel syndrome, diabetic neuropathy, and retinal neuropathy. Together with chromium picolinate, it is involved in the regulation of blood sugar levels by influencing a plasma factor, GTF (Glucose Tolerance Factor), which regulates and promotes the activity of the hormone insulin. Lipoic acid is considered an "insulin-like" factor because it improves insulin sensitivity in muscle tissue rather than adipose tissue.
Mimiker can be used as a supplement for muscle and adipose tissue. It can therefore be used in cases of insulin resistance. Through this property, it would facilitate glycogen storage, protein synthesis and greater use of fats for energy purposes.

Directions for use
