Active ingredients

• Feverfew: this botanical species, like others used in phytotherapy, belongs to the Asteraceae family, also called Compositae. Its effectiveness in treating headaches is mainly due to parthenolide, a plant molecule that counteracts the production of inflammatory molecules, such as leukotrienes and thromboxanes. It is particularly effective when taken preventively and for periods of 2-3 months, thus reducing the frequency and intensity of headache episodes. It has been observed that not all feverfew preparations are equally effective, for this reason the concentrations of feverfew and parthenolide contained in Micrì dec have been optimized to maximize the effect (dry extract titrated and standardized in parthenolide at 0.80%);
• Ginger: has a general anti-inflammatory effect, which makes it useful as an analgesic against pain caused by headaches. This botanical species also reduces the action of pro-inflammatory mediators, such as thromboxanes and leukotrienes;
• Tryptophan: this essential starch (it cannot be synthesized by the body and therefore must be introduced with normal diet) is the precursor of serotonin and niacin. Several studies demonstrate its usefulness in increasing the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter essential for managing mood and whose levels are reduced in conditions of anxiety and mood swings;
• Magnesium: is a mineral involved in numerous biological processes essential for life and health and plays an essential role in energy production and the balance of the nervous system. The presence of magnesium in the Migrenì dec formulation is linked to its involvement in the processes of rebalancing neuronal transmission altered by headaches.

Bulking agents: maltodextrin, calcium carbonate, corn starch; sucrose, magnesium, oxide, L-tryptophan, feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) flowering herb dry extract tit. 0.8% parthenolides, ginger (Zingiber officinale) rhizome dry extract tit. 5% gingerols; acidifier: citric acid; sliding agents: magnesium stearate, silica; sweetener: sucralose; flavoring.
