Indications

Midaven capsules are used for the treatment of blood vessel fragility, chronic venous insufficiency, hemorrhoid therapy (both acute and chronic attacks, both external and internal), and post-operative therapy for hemorrhoidectomy. In general, it is used to treat or prevent capillary fragility (including bruising, hematomas, purpura, bleeding gums), venous-lymphatic insufficiency, and lymphedema.

It has a predominantly lymphatic drainage effect.

At the microcirculation level, and particularly on capillaries, the drug acts by increasing resistance and reducing vessel permeability. Sweet clover (Melilotus officinalis). The coumarin contained in this plant decreases capillary permeability (anti-edema action) and increases their resistance. The main effect of coumarin is on lymphatic drainage, which is essential to ensure the return of fluids present in the extracellular spaces to the heart.

Composition

Diosmin and Sweet Clover Melilotus officinalis Pallas (dried flowering tops) dry extract titrated 20% in Coumarin.

Excipients: Pregelatinized starch, Calcium carbonate, Magnesium stearate, Micronized silica.

Directions for use and Dosage

The recommended adult dose of MIDAVEN varies depending on the pathology. In particular conditions (acute phlebitis, hemorrhoidal crisis, acute capillary fragility with bleeding complications), the dosage is as follows: 1 capsule three times a day for at least two weeks. Once the desired results have been achieved, a maintenance period of at least 4-8 weeks is recommended with 1 capsule twice a day, and the dosage is decreased until a maintenance dose of 450 mg (1 capsule) per day is reached.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
