Indications

Logusflor is a food supplement based on lactic ferments, useful for promoting the balance of the intestinal flora:

• Lactobacillus casei
  Naturally present in the gastrointestinal tract. In vitro studies demonstrate high resistance to the acidic pH of the stomach and bile salts: this allows the Lactobacillus to reach the intestine alive, where it performs its probiotic function.
• Lactobacillus acidophilus
  A probiotic widely used in the food and pharmaceutical industries, resistant to acidic pH and enzymes such as pepsin and pancreatin: it inhibits the growth of pathogens and has demonstrated particular effectiveness in preventing infections of the urogenital tract.
• Lactobacillus plantarum
  Gastro-resistant and immunomodulatory lactobacillus: it promotes the release of IL-12. It also promotes the degradation of oxalates, making it particularly useful in cases of kidney stones.
• Streptococcus thermophilus
  Particularly resistant to the action of bile salts, this probiotic adheres to the intestinal mucosa, competing with pathogenic microorganisms; it promotes the synthesis of IL-10, a molecule that inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines.
• Beta-glucan
  It is able to modify the biological response of the immune system by binding to macrophages and neutrophils: it activates cells by promoting the release of cytokines and interleukins. These properties are the basis of the antibacterial activity of this compound; the molecule also has anti-inflammatory activity.

Ingredients

Lactobacillus casei; Lactobacillus acidophilus; Lactobacillus plantarum; Streptococcus thermophilus; Betaglucan (1,3)-(1,6) from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Directions for use and dosage

We recommend taking one sachet per day, away from meals, dissolved in a glass of water.
