The simultaneous intake of Lithos sachets and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor the trend of potassium levels. There are no known interactions with other drugs.

Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disorders may develop, such as abdominal heaviness, nausea, and occasionally diarrhea. The tablet form may be particularly suitable for these individuals.
