Indications

Lipogil is a supplement based on Berberis extract, which is traditionally used to support regular cardiovascular and liver function, fermented red rice, octacosanol, astaxanthin and coenzyme Q10:

• Berberine
  Berberine is one of the main alkaloids present in plants of the Berberis genus.
  In several scientific studies, Berberine has proven to be a useful complement in the treatment of dyslipidemia, allowing a significant reduction in blood levels of triglycerides, LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol.
• Red rice Monascus purpureus
  During its fermentation activity, this yeast is enriched with a group of substances, called monacolins, to which it is linked. Scientifically attributed to a strong hypocholesterolemic activity, monacolin K from red rice is able to inhibit HMG-CoA reductase, which is a key enzyme in the biosynthesis of cholesterol.
• Policosanols
  Policosanols are a natural mixture of primary aliphatic alcohols extracted from rice or sugar cane wax.

Indian barberry extract (Berberis aristata D.C., tree bark) tit. 85% in berberine, food gelatin capsule, fermented red rice extract from Monascus purpureus tit. 5% monacolin K, astaxanthin from Haermatococcus pluvialis Flotow, thallus (contains soy lecithin), policosanols from sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum L.) titrated to 60% in octacosanol, anti-caking agents: magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide; coenzyme Q10.
