Indications

Legapas Vital is a dietary supplement specifically designed for the treatment of liver and gallbladder pain. It is indicated for draining bile duct gravel and constipation, especially of hepatobiliary origin. It stimulates intestinal peristalsis, acting as a laxative and also increasing secretions from the upper and middle intestinal tract. It is indicated for liver disorders accompanied by abdominal discomfort, a feeling of fullness, heaviness, flatulence, and loss of appetite. The elements that compose it are:

• Cascara Extract, which acts as a laxative and choleretic;
• Dandelion which promotes regular intestinal transit, also aids purifying functions;
• Carduus Marianus and Taraxacum Extracts, with purifying, cell regenerative, choleretic and spasmolytic properties, which support the effect of the Cascara extract.

Directions for use and dosage

It is recommended to take 30 to 50 drops in the morning or evening, dissolved in a little warm water. The dosage should be adapted according to individual response.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Prolonged use may worsen intestinal constipation. Do not take the product for more than two weeks, unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg of hydroxyanthracene derivatives (50 drops). Do not take the remedy in case of acute inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, appendicitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin; pregnancy, breastfeeding, and children under 12 years of age.

Contraindications and side effects

In case of chronic use or abuse, electrolyte losses, especially potassium, may occur; albuminuria and hematuria; and pigmentation of the intestinal mucosa, which, however, is harmless and regresses once intake is stopped. Potassium loss may occur. lead to alterations in cardiac function and myasthenia, particularly if cardiac glycosides, diuretics and corticosteroids are taken simultaneously.
