Indications
Ketoram is a supplement of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) in particular 4:1:1 ratio, ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate and vitamin B6.
Branched-chain amino acids are abundantly contained in muscle (35% of the total) and are one of the most important factors regulating muscle protein metabolism.
Their availability promotes protein synthesis. In particular, the amino acid leucine is particularly active in this sense, since it contributes to the production of protein. induces the activity of the intracellular receptor mTOR C1.
For this reason, Ketoram, compared to Friram, contains a different ratio of BCAAs, Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine equal to 4:1:1 instead of 2:1:1.
This formulation seems more suitable for accelerating post-exercise recovery, and in particular for promoting muscle growth.
Branched chain amino acids are also an excellent supplement for promoting muscle recovery after trauma, surgery and during rehabilitation.
Since they are not metabolised directly by the liver, but in the muscle, they can be taken without precautions in an average recommended dosage of 1 g/10 kg of weight.
