Magnesium and potassium food supplement.
Indications
Idrobasic® is a gluten-free, naturally lactose-free food supplement that changes the way you drink, making water pleasant and enjoyable to drink. It also combines the right amount of potassium and magnesium, which contributes to proper electrolyte balance, normal energy metabolism, and normal muscle and bone function. All this was created using a very low-calorie blend (maximum 25 kcal per sachet).
Idrobasic® also has a unique feature that sets it apart from all other mineral supplements: its alkaline nature. In fact, being based on citrate, an alkaline salt, it is also useful for supplementing a diet low in alkaline values (fruit and vegetables) or compensating for a diet high in proteins or fats that would cause an excessive acid load for the body.

Nutritional Values
Each 9 g sachet of Idrobasic® contains 20 mEq of Potassium (782 mg), 10 mEq of Magnesium (135 mg), 30 mEq of citrate (3034 mg) which allows you to obtain and maintain constant levels of potassium and magnesium in the plasma and urinary citrate.

How to use and Dosage
We recommend taking one sachet per day, unless otherwise medically indicated. Idrobasic® should be taken by diluting the contents of the sachet in 1.5-2 liters of water to be drunk throughout the day.
Warnings
Idrobasic® is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or from conditions that may predispose to the onset of these plasma alterations. These conditions include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus. The simultaneous intake of Idrobasic® and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor the trend of potassium levels. No interactions with other drugs are known. Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances may develop, such as abdominal heaviness, nausea, and occasionally diarrhea.
