Potassium and magnesium food supplement
Indications
Idrobasic® changes the way you drink, making water pleasant and enjoyable to drink. It also combines an adequate amount of Potassium and Magnesium, which helps maintain proper electrolyte balance, normal energy metabolism, and normal muscle and bone function, making it useful for supplementing these mineral salts in all conditions of deficiency or increased need.
Nutritional values
Each sachet of IDROBASIC® contains 100 mg of potassium. Contains 3034 mg of Potassium and Magnesium Citrate salts, equivalent to 20 mEq of Potassium and 11 mEq of Magnesium.
Directions for use and Dosage
Unless otherwise indicated by your doctor, we recommend taking one tripartite sachet per day, dissolved in 1.5 L of water, or divided into 3 practical portions following the cut edges of the sachet.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Idrobasic® is contraindicated in patients with hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the onset of these plasma alterations. These include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, and acute dehydration.
Concomitant use of Idrobasic® and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) may cause hyperkalemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor potassium levels. No interactions with other drugs are known.
