Indications
Idrobasic is an alkalizing mineral supplement (potassium and magnesium citrates), sweetened with stevia. Ideal for managing and preventing certain conditions related to dehydration, and promoting a state of well-being resulting from proper water balance in the body. Drinking mineral water is particularly important for certain individuals subject to severe dehydration or increased needs: pregnant women, athletes and sportspeople in general, children, the elderly, patients suffering from kidney stones, osteoporosis, dysentery or undergoing treatment with diuretics, laxatives, and corticosteroids. Idrobasic also provides the right amount of potassium and magnesium for normal energy metabolism and normal muscle and bone function. All this has been created using a very low-calorie blend (maximum 25 kcal per sachet). Idrobasic has an alkaline nature, in fact, being citrate-based, it is also useful for supplementing a diet low in alkaline values (fruit and vegetables) or compensating for a diet high in proteins or fats that would cause an excessive acid load for the body.

Directions for use and Dosage
It is recommended to take one sachet per day, unless otherwise indicated by your doctor. Idrobasic should be taken by diluting the contents of the sachet in 1.5 litres of water to be drunk throughout the day. For other indications (prevention of kidney stones), follow the doctor's prescription.
Warnings
Idrobasic is contraindicated in patients with hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the onset of these plasma alterations. These conditions include chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus. Concomitant use of Idrobasic and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) may cause hyperkalemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor potassium levels. No interactions with other drugs are known. Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disorders may develop such as abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Shelf life for intact packaging: 24 months.
