Indications

Hericium Bio is a hericium supplement titrated at 20% polysaccharides and 50% β(1,3-1,6)-D-glucans, from organic farming.
Hericium (Hericium erinaceus), also known as Yamabushitake, lion's mane or pom pom, is an edible mushroom widespread in China and other Eastern countries, where it is traditionally used to treat, in particular, dyspepsia and gastric ulcers.
Native to North America, Europe and Asia, Hericium erinaceus is also present in the Mediterranean area. In Japan it is known as Yamabushitake, where Yamabushi means "those who sleep on the mountains", with reference to the Buddhist hermit monks due to the similarity with their traditional robes.
The hericium has the peculiar shape of a cushion from which thick white and fleshy offshoots emerge (which also resemble intestinal villi), thus earning the nickname Lion's Mane or Old Man's Beard, and can reach up to 30 cm in diameter and 2 kg in weight.
The interest in the use of mushrooms is in fact linked to the presence of high molecular weight polysaccharides, in particular the β(1,3-1,6)-D-glucans, which this macrofungus is rich in.
