Indications
Folisid forte is a food supplement based on iron, folic acid, vitamin C and copper, useful in cases of reduced intake or increased need for these nutrients.
Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin.
Folic acid contributes to normal hematopoiesis and the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy. In women of childbearing age, supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus.
Copper contributes to the normal transport of iron in the body, and Vitamin C increases iron absorption.

Take 1 tablet per day away from meals. For optimal use of the product, seek medical advice.
Warnings
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more components of the product. The beneficial effect on increasing maternal folate status is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of 400 mcg of folic acid for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. The risk of developing neural tube defects in the fetus is due to multiple risk factors; intervention on one of these factors may not have a beneficial effect. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, avoiding exposure to light and heat. The minimum shelf life refers to the product correctly stored in its intact package. Do not dispose of the container in the environment.
