Food supplement in orodispersible sachets based on boswellia extract and bromelain.

Indications

Floser is composed of:

• Boswellia serrata: Boswellia, a gum resin rich in boswellic acids, helps improve inflammation, including pain and edema. Boswellic acids selectively inhibit the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme responsible for the biosynthesis of leukotrienes that facilitate inflammatory processes. They are able to: inhibit elastase, enzymes that attack and deteriorate the elastic part of tissues in which an inflammatory process is underway, and also prevent the infiltration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes, which contribute to the destruction of connective tissue. Its use is recommended in cases of pain, local inflammation, and inflammation of soft tissues. Its anti-inflammatory activity is better tolerable than NSAIDs, as the typical side effects on the gastric mucosa are absent.
• Bromelain: An enzyme with predominantly proteolytic activity extracted from pineapple stems. Its main use is anti-inflammatory and anti-edema. It is particularly effective in the treatment of inflammatory conditions of soft tissues associated with trauma, localized inflammation (especially in the presence of pre-edema), and post-operative tissue reactions. The safety of using bromelain compared to other traditional anti-inflammatory drugs derives from the difference in its mechanism of action: bromelain acts by increasing the production of prostaglandins with anti-inflammatory activity at the expense of those with pro-inflammatory activity, thus avoiding the gastrointestinal damage typical of NSAIDs.

Directions for use and Dosage

It is recommended to take one sachet 1-2 times a day directly into the mouth, without water.
