Indications
Inflammation, or phlogosis, is a defense mechanism that the body activates following damage caused by physical, chemical, and biological agents. The ultimate goal is to eliminate the initial cause of the damage and then initiate the repair process.
It manifests itself with the following symptoms: redness, swelling, heat, pain, loss of functionality.
All are more or less present depending on the damage and its location.
One of these factors, swelling or edema, is caused by an excessive accumulation of fluids in the cells and interstitial tissues, or in the space between the cells themselves. Edema is due to the alteration of the permeability of the capillaries which causes the accumulation of fluids in a limited area (the area of the damage) which then leads to the onset of pain and loss of functionality.
Flogasine helps fight the inflammatory process thanks to a dual action:
- anti-inflammatory action, thanks to substances such as bromelain, which have a selective inhibition action on the factors that cause inflammation;
- anti-edema action, thanks to escin, which increases the resistance of the capillaries and improves their permeability.
It has a high dosage of enzymes with powerful proteolytic activity (which allow for a more rapid and effective reduction of edema).
