Indications
Iron is a mineral present in the body and it is essential to maintain a constant balance between absorption and daily losses so as not to incur deficiencies. This important mineral derives mainly from dietary intake; normally, an adequate diet compensates for the elimination of iron and the balance is maintained in equilibrium (homeostasis). The daily requirement of iron varies according to different physiological or pathological conditions, dietary habits, particular periods of stress, or in case of increased need.
The iron present in Ferromas® is chelated; this particular pharmaceutical technique, combined with the fast slow release of the triple-layer tablets, allows for maximizing absorption, avoiding gastrointestinal problems such as gastric heaviness, gastroesophageal reflux, and diarrhea, which are typical of iron supplements.

Directions for use and Dosage
It is recommended to take 1 tablet per day, swallowed with a sip of water. It is preferable to take the tablet on an empty stomach. It can also be taken by people with gluten intolerance or sensitivity.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
