Iron-based dietary supplement suitable for pregnant women.
Indications
Ferrocento Act is a supplement containing iron, folic acid, and vitamin C, useful in cases of increased need or reduced dietary intake of these nutrients, particularly for women of childbearing age, pregnant women, and breastfeeding women. The supplement contains SunActive Fe, a special microencapsulated iron salt with high bioavailability, tasteless, pleasant to take, and no unpleasant aftertaste, and Quatrefolic, folic acid in a biologically active form. Supplemental intake of folic acid increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Vitamin C increases iron absorption.

Directions for use and Dosage
We recommend taking 1 softgel per day.
The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of 400 mcg of folic acid for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
