Indications

Ferfolix 30 is a dietary supplement containing 30 mg of microencapsulated liposome-based iron pyrophosphate and Vitamin C.

• Iron is essential for the synthesis of hemoglobin and red blood cells. It is involved in the transport of oxygen in the blood and is essential for meeting daily energy needs and for other bodily functions. Iron is also vital for proper brain development.
• Vitamin C increases iron absorption, contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and the normal function of the immune system.

Liposomal protection allows the iron pyrophosphate in Ferfolix 30 to pass through the gastric environment unharmed and be absorbed directly throughout the small intestine, reaching the liver unharmed. Inside the liver, the liposome is "opened" by lysosomal enzymes, making the iron available to the body. Liposomal technology allows for high absorption and bioavailability of iron, without irritating the intestinal mucosa and without leaving any unpleasant taste.
