Active ingredients
- Momordica Charantia: Tropical plant used in traditional Eastern medicine as a hypoglycemic. Its activity in regulating carbohydrate metabolism is recognized by the Ministry of Health.
- Milk Thistle: (scientific name Silybum marianum) is a herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family, present throughout the Mediterranean basin. The active ingredients, concentrated mainly in the seeds, are represented by a mixture of flavolignans (proteins, sterols, flavonoids, oleic acid, linoleic acid), among which silymarin stands out, which has a notable hepatoprotective effect against toxic agents, drugs, alcohol, poisonous active ingredients, stimulates the regeneration of hepatocytes and helps reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
- Magnesium: A key element for metabolism, a cofactor of over 300 enzymes. It plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism. Numerous studies demonstrate a close correlation between Mg++ deficiency and hyperinsulinemia. Magnesium supplementation helps improve the uptake and use of glucose by the organs and tissues affected by insulin, and is associated with a significant decline in the incidence of type 2 diabetes.
- Chromium picolinate: An essential element for the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids. Directions for use and dosage
