Indications
ERGYBASE is a complex of antacid mineral salts (magnesium, calcium, potassium), B vitamins and zinc, which contributes to a normal acid-base metabolism. Calcium contributes to the normal functioning of digestive enzymes and vitamin B3 to maintain normal mucous membranes, including those of the intestine. ERGYBASE is recommended in cases of acidity, acid-base imbalance, for the correct functioning of digestive enzymes, in cases of a diet low in fruit and vegetables or a diet high in protein.
Acid-base balance
The unit of measurement of acidity is pH. Tissues and body fluids have different pH levels. pH values can vary slightly, so a minimum and maximum reading are usually provided (for blood, for example, 7.38 and 7.42). The current diet is typically unbalanced, with a high intake of acidifying foods, such as red meat, dairy products, salty and processed foods, at the expense of alkalizing foods, especially fruits and vegetables. The body then draws on its mineral reserves to neutralize them: this is called acidic soil. The pH of the affected tissues then exceeds the maximum threshold.
Ingredients
Potassium bicarbonate, calcium citrate, magnesium carbonate and hydroxide, zinc gluconate, anti-caking agent: vegetable magnesium stearate; vitamins B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), B3 (nicotinamide), B5 (calcium D-pantothenate), and B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride). Capsule: fish gelatin.
