Indications
Folic acid, betaine, B vitamins (B2, B6, B12) are micronutrients physiologically involved in homocysteine metabolism.
A nutritional deficiency of these nutrients could lead to insufficient metabolism of homocysteine at the intracellular level and to its accumulation in the blood (hyperhomocysteinemia).
The supplemental intake of folic acid, betaine, vitamin B6 and B12 contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
Thanks to the presence of 400 µg of folic acid as 6S-5-methyltetrahydrofolate salt glucosamine, 5-MTHF (Quatrefolic), the intake of Endomox 600 is also suitable in the pre-conception period (three to one month before conception).
The specific presence of N-acetyl-L-cysteine in the formulation also promotes the passage of excess homocysteine (bound to plasma proteins) from the blood into the cells, where it can be metabolized.
