Indications

Emefort is a food supplement recommended for iron deficiency or increased iron requirements, during pregnancy, in cases of heavy menstrual flow, if following a vegetarian or vegan diet, in cases of intense and prolonged physical activity. It is a product based on iron, vitamin C, zinc and folic acid.

• Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin, to normal oxygen transport in the body, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the normal function of the immune system. The iron contained is a preparation based on ferric pyrophosphate, encapsulated within a special membrane (liposome) that allows for its high absorption at the gastrointestinal level, its greater availability and the reduction of side effects (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and heartburn) that can occur following iron intake.
• Vitamin C increases iron absorption.
• Folic acid contributes to normal hematopoiesis, or the production of blood cells.
• Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Directions for use and dosage

We recommend taking one sachet per day, preferably in the morning, pouring the powder directly into the mouth, without water. If necessary, you can also dissolve the contents of the sachet in water.

Warnings

Not recommended for people with genetic hemochromatosis. Contains polyols: excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. Contains aspartame: a source of phenylalanine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
