Indications

ellesider® provides the right amount of iron, folic acid, vitamin C and copper. It contains 30 mg of microencapsulated iron, developed with the most advanced nanotechnology, which ensures that the iron is transported through nanospheres of lipid droplets that are immediately assimilated even in cases of duodenal resection or altered states of absorption. The use of nanotechnology also makes ellesider® highly tolerable as, by preventing contact of free iron with the gastric mucosa, it protects the body from the irritating effect typical of the most common iron-based supplements on the market.
Iron is an essential element for our body; Its main function is the production of hemoglobin and myoglobin, proteins important for proper tissue oxygenation.
Iron contributes to normal energy metabolism and the growth of all body tissues, to the development and functioning of the nervous system, and is therefore also involved in maintaining cognitive and psychological abilities.
Some common symptoms of iron deficiency are headache, palpitations, neuralgia, increased susceptibility to infections, and irritability.
Folic acid, or Vitamin B9, is important for cell growth and duplication, for the synthesis of DNA and proteins, and for homocysteine ​​metabolism. The addition of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, helps fight oxidative stress; furthermore, the protected form of vitamin C ensures better bioavailability.
The presence of copper allows ellesider® to enhance the activity of antioxidant mechanisms and the immune system, preventing cellular aging and the onset of infections. Furthermore, in association with Vitamin C, copper promotes the maintenance of connective tissues, preventing dermatological disorders (hair loss, loss of skin elasticity, brittle nails).
