Indications

The liver is an important organ with multiple functions, all essential for keeping the body in perfect working order. Some of its functions are:

• filtering the blood and eliminating all toxic substances, both external (e.g. drugs, alcohol) and internal (e.g. lactic acid)
• producing reserve substances (e.g. triglycerides, cholesterol, glycogen) to be used when more energy is needed - destruction of "old" red blood cells (hemocateresis)
• production of bile, important for digestive processes

Every minute, at rest, about 1.5 liters of blood are filtered in the liver: the more energy it uses, the more energy it needs. The more potentially harmful substances are present, the more work the liver will have to do to eliminate them.
Some conditions (e.g. excessive alcohol, a high-fat diet, drug abuse, viral infections, etc.) lead to liver stress, which in the long run causes a loss of functionality with even serious consequences: hepatopathy (liver disease) ensues. Examples are hepatic steatosis (fatty liver), viral hepatitis, etc.

Ecusirt has a complete formulation aimed at overall liver health: it works as a hepatoprotector and as an antioxidant.

It has the highest quantity of Silymarin per single tablet (300 mg).
