Indications

Donavit SUPRA® is a multivitamin and multimineral supplement based on Quatrefolic (Folic Acid), EPA, DHA with the addition of Lactoferrin and Vitamin C1.
A specially formulated formulation that provides complete nutritional supplementation and compensates for iron deficiencies during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein capable of binding and transporting iron.
Vitamin C is the nutrient that increases iron absorption in the intestine.
Microparticled iron, thanks to the small size of the particles, allows for greater intestinal absorption.

Specially designed to meet the needs of women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Donavit SUPRA® is composed of:

• Quatrefolic® (Folic Acid): Folic acid and folates are B vitamins, also known as vitamin B9.
  Dietary folates are compounds present in foods, while folic acid is the synthetic molecule.
  Quatrefolic® is a particular source of folic acid, which allows this vitamin to be available in its active form as a glucosamine salt.
  Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy, normal hematopoiesis, and is involved in the process of cell division. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status.
  Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus.
  Donavit® SUPRA is intended for women of childbearing age.
  The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of 400 mcg of folic acid (1 capsule per day) for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
• DHA and EPA:Maternal DHA intake contributes to the physiological development of the brain and eyes in the fetus and in breastfed infants.
  These beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily dose of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, which is equal to 250 mg of DHA and EPA.
  Each capsule of Donavit® SUPRA contains 240 mg of DHA and EPA.
• Lactoferrin:Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein of the transferrin family, therefore belonging to those proteins with the property of binding and transporting iron.
• Vitamin C:Vitamin C increases iron absorption.
• Vitamin D:Vitamin D is necessary for normal growth and development of bones in children.
• Zinc:Zinc contributes to normal protein and DNA synthesis, intervenes in the process of cell division and contributes to the physiological function of the immune system.
• Iodine and Selenium: Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and, together with selenium, to normal thyroid function.
• Vitamin B12: Vitamin B12 plays a role in the process of cell division.
• Iron: Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin and to the physiological transport of oxygen in the body.
  It also supports the normal cognitive development of children.
• Vitamins B1, B2, B6, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid:Vitamin B1 supports normal heart function.
  Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
  Vitamin B2, Niacin and Pantothenic Acid contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
• Biotin and Copper:Biotin and Copper contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
  Furthermore, Biotin helps maintain healthy skin and hair, while Copper contributes to the maintenance of connective tissues and normal skin pigmentation.
