Indications

Diurenorm represents a natural antimicrobial solution in the prophylaxis of urinary tract infections, integrating in a single product the recognized properties of proanthocyanidins (cranberry and vitis vinifera) in preventing bacterial adhesion to the urothelium and the strong broad-spectrum antibacterial power of grapefruit seeds. Recent controlled clinical studies have highlighted the ability of American cranberry or cranberry to prevent recurrent uncomplicated urinary tract infections by inhibiting the adhesion of pathogenic strains of E. coli to the cells of the urinary epithelium, thus preventing colonization and the related development of the infectious process.
