Indications
Depatic is a phytocomplex particularly active in supporting a purifying and protective action on the liver. Silymarin, the active ingredient in milk thistle seed extract, is a complex of 3 molecules, silybin, silychristin and silydianin which have demonstrated an important protective activity on liver cells. Silymarin has antioxidant and hepatoprotective properties, antagonistic towards numerous hepatotoxic agents: phalloidin and alpha-amanitin (the toxic substances of the Amanita phalloides), lanthanides, carbon tetrachloride, galactosamine, ethanol (cause of the degenerative lesions of alcohol-induced disease), etc. The therapeutic efficacy of silymarin is based on two mechanisms of action: it prevents the penetration of toxic agents into liver cells and stimulates their regeneration capacity. Desmodium adscendens is a plant of African origin used since ancient times for a wide range of conditions. Numerous studies confirm the plant's biological and clinical efficacy in repairing and protecting liver tissue from damage caused by chronic degenerative diseases (cirrhosis, hepatitis, etc.) and by certain toxic substances (plant toxins, drugs, chemical poisons, etc.). Desmodium works by restoring the normal anatomical and functional structure of liver tissue. The anti-inflammatory and protective action on the liver parenchyma is mediated by the inhibition of an enzyme (hepatic monooxygenase) that catalyzes one of the biochemical reactions of transformation of arachidonic acid into eicosanoids, the main pro-inflammatory molecules in the body.

D.C., leaves) dry extract tit. 0.5% flavonoids, Bulking agent: cellulose; Anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide and magnesium salts of fatty acids. Coating agent (capsule): hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

Directions for use and dosage
